Hanging out: A story
by Grace B., All Saints Catholic School
Angel liked to hang out with his younger brother growing up. They would bond by playing music. He still plays music with his brother on the weekends. Other than his brother, he would often hang out with his close family. He loved his family very much. He would do anything for them. Once when he was 11, he saw a dragon and fought it off for them. That’s what I call a hero! After 13 years of hanging out with his family a lot, he decided to branch out a little bit. For example, he would go to the senior center to see if the seniors wanted to hang out. They didn’t, though. Then he went onto the day care to see if the little kids wanted to come over and hang. Sadly, they didn’t either. So he just went back to his family. He felt safe there. Luckily, there weren’t any more dragons in his lifetime, but there were goblins and a couple trolls here and there. His family was perfectly fine for him, though. So was his brother. Except for when the aliens came. That’s a story for another day, though.
